Unmanaged Guest WiFi by Wyfy Guest
Unmanaged guest WiFi: keep your network, add your own login.
Your network stays with you and whoever looks after it. Wyfy Guest adds the branded login page and guest list on top, and you run them from one dashboard.
What is unmanaged guest WiFi?
Unmanaged guest WiFi means you keep your own network and the person who looks after it, and add guest login software on top. With Wyfy Guest, guests sign in on your branded page with a one-time password (OTP) by SMS, WhatsApp or email, or with a voucher, and you get a verified guest list and control speed and session limits from a dashboard.
What's included
What you get on top of your network
Your own login page
Guests see your logo and colours when they join the WiFi, not the router maker's page. There is no app to install.
Login by code or voucher
Guests confirm with a one-time password by SMS (text message), WhatsApp or email, or with a voucher. You choose per location. WhatsApp needs approval first.
A verified guest list
Every login reaches your dashboard, so you see who came and when, and can export the list as a CSV file.
Speed and session limits
Set a fair speed for each guest and end sessions after the time you choose, by location. One guest can't take the whole line.
One dashboard
See every location in one place: who is online, your busiest times and reports on guests and usage.
Staff access
Give each person a role and their locations, so a front-desk login stays out of the network settings. Guest numbers stay hidden by default.
Who does what
The network stays your job. The guest login is ours to run.
You keep the work of looking after the network. We take on the guest login that sits on top of it.

Questions
What people ask about unmanaged guest WiFi
Is this the right starting point if I am new to guest WiFi?
It is if your network already works well. If you are still deciding, read what guest WiFi is and how it works first, then compare managed guest WiFi.
Do I need to buy new hardware?
Not if your router is compatible. We check the router you already have on the demo. If it is not, we recommend one that works, and you can buy it yourself or have us buy and set it up.
Who looks after the network?
You do, or your IT person or installer. Wyfy Guest adds the login page, guest list and limits on top. If you would rather we looked after it, see Managed Guest WiFi.
Will it improve my WiFi signal?
No. A login page cannot fix weak signal. If coverage is the problem, network planning or managed guest WiFi is the better place to start.
Will I know if my WiFi goes down?
Yes, if Alerts are on your plan. They email your account's contact address when a site goes offline or a line goes down. Getting it working again stays with you or your installer.
Can I also use a backup line, a firewall or website blocking?
It depends on your router and your plan. Some features are only on certain plans, so your quote names each one.
Can it connect to my hotel or billing software?
There is no ready-made connector. On selected plans, your developer can use an API key (a secure way for two software systems to talk) to connect Wyfy Guest to your systems.
Is there a price list or a free trial?
No. Wyfy Guest is priced by quote, and there is no public price list or free trial. The demo is free.
